Father at this time I will bless You, for Your purposes and for Your concert and for Your message. Lord we thank You because You have overlooked our waywardness, our rebellions. Lord we thank You because of the provisions that You have made in causing us to have this opportunity. Lord we thank You for we are convinced You have the ability to bring about this change within us. We know that we cannot change ourselves. You did say that the entrance of Your Word, that He giveth Light and brings understanding. Lord we beseech You today to deal with us in mercy, to overrule, for it says that “except those days are shortened that no flesh should be saved”.[1] Lord we ask that You will intervene. We ask Lord that Your Word You will cause to come very clearly “seed for the sower” and “bread, fresh bread, hallowed bread” for Your people O Lord.[2] Hallelujah. Let there be “fresh waters”.[3] Lord we ask for the flow of Your Spirit to minister and to encourage us and in all that Your name might be glorified – in the Name of Jesus. Amen.

I think it is a privilege to be here. It is a privilege for me to be here and I want you to believe every word of it. I am privileged to be here. As of Wednesday I didn’t even know I was going to come. Wednesday I had lost hope, I was beginning to make other plans and then God began to open the door. I want to thank all of the brethren who have been praying. I came in yesterday morning. I want to ask you to forgive me before I start, if I say something you don’t like, please just… I feel sad myself because of what I have to say so I am sure you shouldn’t feel too sad. Amen.

I have been hearing some things. I have been hearing some Words and seeing some things that are not of my making. So I am just going to share some of those things.

A brother was sharing on Sunday and he said, “Jacob was asked, well had to bring venison for his son for his father. It was actually his son that was to bring it. But somehow he heard. Now he didn’t know the offering to bring. it was the mother that said, “This is what your father likes.” The brother said, “This is the church that teaches the ministry the kind of offering to bring that will please the Father.”

Amen. So for the offering I am about to bring I hope that the brethren will help me so that it will be the right offering. Amen. Hallelujah. So that it will be that which will please Him.

I have a book here. It is called “Midnight”. We have been struggling to publish it for the past two years. Brother Isaac has been under a lot of strain. The first time when we got through to last year he was just about to print – somebody ran a lowring through his press. It destroyed the press. It destroyed everything. We had to start all over again. We had to repair it. This particular one is not a perfect book. It has so many technical errors or flaws, but it contains, it is about midnight. It is about the Word God has been speaking to me about midnight. It is a message for the church so I have to ask permission because by right you should read it to know if it is correct. Wednesday I was not in fellowship, but Isaac brought about twenty copies. It is voluminous, about 400 pages. So they prayed about it in fellowship. I had not even seen it. I just saw it on Thursday night before I started coming. So I would really like you brethren to pray for it also.

As I was praying God said, “I want this book to be at this conference.”    

So I would like the brethren to pray for it. I couldn’t carry too many because of the load and it is heavy. So I have a few copies so we can try to pass around the fellowships. Please, if what is in it is not God just put it aside, but if it is God then my job is done. You will have the responsibility to respond. Amen. Hallelujah.

This is August, sometime in July I got a Word and God said, “That is what I want you to talk about in the conference.”

I didn’t write it but I had confidence that if it is God, God will bring it again. Then I think three days ago my wife was asking about the meetings. She said the theme of the conference is on the bride and preparing the bride and all that. That is actually the Word that I got at the time I came. So I just want to share briefly that Word.

If you will turn with me to Matthew 25. When I came yesterday I caught some brethren preaching my message.J I caught some brethren so when I started I said, “O God.” Then Brother Willie came and he started preaching part of the message. Then brother came at night also started preaching the message.

I said, “Okay, that means that I won’t have anything to talk about.” Amen. I was telling Brother Burt, in fact my wife told me that he preached about sealing in the previous message.  I said, “That was the Word.”

I heard Him say, “In the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.”[4]

So I am looking at Matthew 25. Now because I have so many grounds to cover I will be saying the scriptures and I trust that if you are taking notes you can also take notes. Matthew 25, we will start at the setting. The setting of Matthew 25 is the setting of midnight. What I was made to understand midnight is not one day, it is a period of time that has a series of events to go with it. It can also become, it is also a day, it will actually be a day – but it is a period.

Now way back in Genesis it says,

Genesis 1:14 “…Let there be lights…let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and year:”

Part of the problem that I have had which I see, (because whatever I see in myself I see it in the church), is that we think as man thinks – but God has His own different way of looking at it. Please don’t think that I am going to spiritualize because I am going to talk about spiritual things. Where the devil is fighting us at the spiritual level and we are fighting him at the carnal level. So I am going to encourage us go beyond the carnal and let us look at it for that is where the battle is.

Praise the Lord, He is here today. You can feel the life. Because that is where God wants us to be, at the spiritual cutting edge. It says that we are going to be warring as there is war in heaven. My brother was talking about it. We are dealing with a system, you know it is something like you fail at the beginning. A system that has completely overwhelmed us even before you start.

I have been seeking God and the only way I see is to do what I am trying to do now. That is to fight the devil at the level he is fighting me and that is at a spiritual level.

Remember our Brother Cec taught us that the Word of God comes in three dimensions. There is the natural dimension and then there is the spiritual dimension and then there is the fullness of the spiritual dimension. For a long time we have just been at the natural and the devil is very good, very happy for us to just stay there. But he is coming at us on the spiritual level, on the fullness of the spiritual dimensions.

I think the people go, “We have the capability.”

One of the things that is exciting to me today is that I see the body functioning. You know, I know the body is functioning. We have been here and there is no one man that is in control and you can see the church fall in line upon line and things moving on. So I have that confidence.

We are at the time of midnight. Midnight is not physical light. We are looking at spiritual reality, spiritual situations. In Matthew 25 He says, He is talking about midnight and at midnight the bride, or the virgin is asleep. So before we go there let’s look at what is a virgin. What is a virgin? Because the way God showed that to me, if you are able to understand that then I can sit down.

We must as Brother Uto was saying yesterday, he said, “It is not in his talk.”

Now as a manager I will tell you that you “walk the talk”, isn’t that so? So as a manager I meet in the office, I go to the lab, I go to the benches, I find out what is going on and I manage the things on that level. So you walk the talk.

So what is a virgin? Okay, in the natural who is a virgin? God’s thinking is completely different from what you see in the natural. Now in the natural of course a virgin is a woman that has not known man, isn’t that so. Amen. What do you think is God’s virgin? Who is God’s virgin? If you all understand I will just go and sit down. So even in the natural the virgin, of course the virgin is going to be the bride, isn’t that so? To the virgin is called to be a bride. So in the natural the virgin has not known man, or man known woman, isn’t it also. So God is not a man, isn’t that so?

John 4:24 “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.”  

So who is God’s virgin? A virgin in the spirit is a soul that has not known another spirit. Now I should say forgive me, because it will look a bit abstract. It shouldn’t be abstract because this is what is happening and this is where we must be even though we have lost the battle completely. In the natural a virgin is a man or a woman who has not known the other, the opposite sex, isn’t that so. Now for God a virgin speaks of a soul and the soul of man is a realm of the spirit. Is that too far? Is that false doctrine? I am going very carefully. Is that okay? The soul of man is a realm of the spirit. Hallelujah. God is saying that your soul to be a virgin unto Him must be free of every other spirit. It must not be contaminated by any other spirit. Hallelujah. If it is contaminated by any other spirit, then you are not a virgin.

Brother Willy was saying, as I said, he was preaching my message. “The bride has to make herself ready.”[5] The bride must overcome every other contrary spirit to qualify to be married to Jesus. That is a very tough job. Since I heard I have been struggling, the more I struggle the more I fail. I’m telling you as I share this Word. Amen. So it is not grammar, it is action.

Now for me to be able to overcome contrary spirits it means that:

(1) I must be able to discern what is a contrary spirit.

In fact I talk about overcoming the contrary spirits. Amen. The Bible says that “the priest must not have a flat nose”. (Leviticus 21:18) One of the things that are in the natural, remember that priesthood was “taking away the first that He might bring in the second”.[6] That even that priesthood of which we are speaking now, if you had a flat nose you are out. How much more the spiritual one? That means in the spiritual to have a flat nose means that you don’t have discernment, you can’t discern spirits.

Let me give you an example. Yesterday as we were worshipping, (that is why I say don’t be annoyed at me because if I say somethings), but I knew the worship was – yes we were singing, but not from the heart. Then of course somebody said he saw us walking around in circles. Okay, we were going around this mountain or something like that. Now just as an example I am not saying that I know everything, but I could feel that and I’m sure that the others could also feel that. Even you yourself you can feel that. You can say, “Lord I give you all my heart”. Within me I know I have not given God all my heart. I’m only saying I wish I could give You all of my heart. That is actually what we are saying. We are wishing and we are desiring to give God all of our hearts, that is what that song really is, not that we actually done so. Amen.

So I must be able to discern spirits, that is to discern in all situations. Brother Matthew yesterday was saying about music and worship, you must sing the words. That means to sing in our minds because the mind is the highest dimension of the soul. In the realm of the soul the mind is the highest. The mind is what brings you to God. God doesn’t talk to you through your emotions, or through your desires. He speaks to the mind and you hear the words. Amen. So the mind is not being offered to God, if it is emotion then you become soulish and carnal. Hallelujah. But if your mind is relating to God then everyone, the lowest dimensions, the emotions can now come through.

So we are speaking of the bride and speaking of the virgin and then speaking of midnight. He says, so we can go on, the wise virgin had oil in the vessel which we understand to be the soul. Okay so that is basically important. The bride must have oil in the vessel, or what I call the baptism of the soul. Sorry, that is my own word. There is not scripture, you don’t find it in the Bible, it is just me, it helps me to understand. Hallelujah. The oil must be in the vessel.

But it says that the foolish bride, or the foolish virgin doesn’t have oil in the vessel and that made the difference. It says at midnight there was a crying, there was a voice made, or the trumpet saying, “Behold the bridegroom cometh, go ye out to meet the Lord.” (Matthew 25:6)

There is no doubt in anyone’s mind that we are in the last days, we are in the last times. Can you imagine the economy of Pakistan now? Can you imagine the economy of Greece? Then of Haiti? Who knows which one is coming next? What does it take to bring down the economy of the country? Just a hurricane, or ash clouds, or rain. Now if you look at Ezekiel 14, do you know what he says? “That when I bring the sword upon the land, when I bring you judgment, I will bring you pestilence, I will bring the sword, I will bring the famine, I will bring…” So you see God has the elements in His hands and He can shake it. He said, “The earth will reel to and fro like a drunken man.”[7]

I mean I am looking at my bank account. I say, “Well I have confidence.”

Go talk to them in Pakistan and they will tell you about bank accounts. Amen. Yes. Even in Nigeria I mean, God is surely just shaking some things. I’m looking over a town and their center is gone, the town is gone. It just took somebody to kidnap someone somewhere and then one man said, “Oh, so that is the best business in town. Why do you live here? Just get one and put in your house and he gives you $100,000,000.00 neat and clear. So the whole town is being completely destroyed. The economy is over. That is just to show you how fast things can go. Things are being shaken and we are dealing with spirits.

Let me not digress. So we are looking at, talking about the virgin, talking about the bride. Now the bride of Christ, what God is looking at, He is looking at your soul, that is the bride of Christ. Of course the church where the bride of Christ is, isn’t that also, that is on the secondary level. The primary level, you know like Brother Burt was saying, God says, “An elder must marry a wife.” Or as it says, “Husbands love your wife”, in the natural it talks about the bride and the groom. Then in the spiritual we will understand that it is the church and Jesus, isn’t that so? But you see there is a higher dimension. That higher dimension is you as an entity, as a person. I only say “you”, I am talking about the body, the man, the man. Hallelujah. It says, “the soul that sinneth he shall die.”[8] It is the soul.

So God is interested in the condition of the soul. What is the condition of my soul? When brother was talking yesterday he said something and I was excited because I knew that it was like he was picking something from my mind. You know a few years ago when we began to hear this Word there were certain things that were dominant at the first sounding of the trumpet. Dr. Lin I’m sure he has seen and I’m sure others have too, is that for some time now we have moved away. We have digressed.

You know I said to God, I said, “I am going back. I am going back. I’m going back to the things you used to say to me, to the central issue.”

Now when you look at a Revelation, I said to a brother, I said, “Look, if we were not really touching the mike, we can come here and sing songs and talk about the things that God has done for us. Those are not the issues. The issue is that you must overcome the beast. You must not worship the beast.”

We said some other things. Revelation 20:4 gives a qualification. “These are they that have gotten the victory over so and so and so.” I am looking at myself and I am looking at, I come to church, I just sit down and watch. We talk about it, but that is not the focus, that is not the cutting edge, it is not where our energy is on, it is not where our strength is. We only come to eat as a last effort.

As the Word came this morning saying, “If I come in your midst would you be able to stand?” Can we stand? We can’t stand because the church is in the wrong realm. We are in the wrong dimension. As long as we are in those dimensions we cannot qualify to be brides. Now so what do we do? One of the basic things that you can do is to come to a place of repentance. That is to repent you must know what you are repenting of. You can say, “I surrender all”, we like the song, we sing it. It feels good but what really is the issue? What are you repenting from? Amen. Now if we do not know what we are repenting from then we will still come back or still remain in the condition that we find ourselves.

Moving forward it says the bride must have oil in the vessel and that is the crux of the matter. How do you get oil in the vessel? To give us an idea let’s read Daniel 9:24.

Daniel 9:24 “Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people…”

We know historically that Christ came at the 69^th week. We know from scripture. So the 70^th week, He came at the beginning of the 70^th week and of course those weeks are prophetic time periods.

Daniel 9:24 “Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and [then this particular word] to anoint the most Holy.”

Hallelujah. Now the soul of man is the most holy of the Lord. Hallelujah. The soul of man is to become the heaven of God. Hallelujah. Amen. I don’t know if you can take that? Hallelujah. “Thy kingdom come (on earth). Thy will be done in earth as it is (done) in heaven.”[9] In other words my soul is to become God’s third heaven, God’s heaven. Hallelujah. Now if you can take the scriptures it says that “God dwells between the cherubims”.[10] Who are the cherubims? Hallelujah. Amen.

It says, “…to anoint the most Holy.” That is the oil in the vessel. “…to anoint the most Holy.” Or (I say it this way to help me), to bring a people to the experience of the most holy. Hallelujah. Now in order to be able to make that easier to understand: the temple you find in Jerusalem, well that used to be there, was not the real temple of the Lord. It was only a representation of the pattern of the temple in heaven. But the temple in heaven is you and me. Hallelujah.

Okay, let me go back. Now in Ephesians 1:3 it says that He has “blessed us with all spiritual blessings”, where? “in the heavenly places in Christ:”

As I was asking, “What are these?”

He told me three, there could be more. There are three essential things that wherever you throw the coin up, when it lands, it will fall on those three things. God has called us to be: His bride; or to be His wife; we are going to be joined to Him. God is not going to – God’s dwelling place is not physical, it is spirit, it is the soul. My soul God has proposed to be joined to Him. That is one, one blessing which even angels don’t have. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Dogs don’t have. Beasts don’t have. It is only man. He said, “I have chosen Zion as my dwelling place forever.”[11] So this richest blessing is:

1. That you are called to be the bride, which is what we are talking about now.
2. He has called us to be sons.

So you find the theme of sonship beginning from Genesis to Revelation. The theme of the bride goes from Genesis to Revelation. There is one more, that is that:

1. He has called us to be His temple or dwelling place.

Now those are three principle callings or inheritance that we have and it is in the heavenly realm. So we have a hope undefiled, where? In the heavens.

So we are just looking at just one of them in this conference. We are just looking at the aspect of the bride. But you see it is all intertwined. You can’t talk about the bride without talking about the son and talking about being God’s temple and dwelling place. I was saying that “God does not dwell in temples made with hands”.[12] What tickles me and I am sure it should tickle you, that if the blood of bulls and goats by laying hands on it becomes holy, then to take that blood and sprinkle it and the man becomes sanctified and glorified. Then we could say how much more the blood of Jesus, “that if that blood should be taken and sprinkled on the real temple and that real temple is you and me. How shall not that blood purge us from evil, from this conscious to serve the Living God”.[13] Hallelujah.

So when we say that He is talking about my soul being God’s third heaven, it is something that is real, even basic. Now the problem we have which is where the devil is fighting us, which is the thing I want to get to because that is a real practical situation. I go to work and I am working as a Doctor. I forget about God. I forget who I am. I forget where I am coming from, where I am going to, what God is saying to me. I am thinking of healing patients, doing this and all that. Like you said, by the time you finish you probably have three hours to turn your mind, to realize who and what you are, what you should be doing. The Bible says, “meats for the belly, and the belly for meats”.[14]

So I spend 20 hours dealing with vanity. Hallelujah. What to eat, what not to eat, what to wear, what not to wear, fashion. You know, my mind is taken over with cotton. I don’t really need cotton, you understand. Are you with me? I don’t really need cotton. Now I am thoroughly carnal if I wear silk then I am a big man. But you see, silk is a “fall out of judgment”. Hallelujah. Just like if you say “I am an American, or I am a Nigerian and you feel tough. It is the outcome of God’s judgment. When he is cut out then, when he gives the language of Nigeria, Nigeria was not even from that dimension, Nigeria was 1844.

Or like somebody said, “Somebody should have a country called Trans-Jordan.” He said it was by the stroke of the pen that the country of Jordan was created.”

If somebody is feeling tough, “I am from Jordan,” “I am from Nigeria” with it’s judgment. Hallelujah. I don’t know if you understand. So those issues of being from Nigeria, those are mundane issues. They are not….you know. So the church must go beyond that. That is really the issue. That is really what God wants to touch.

Now if we say, “Lord I give You my heart, I give You my soul.”

What really are you talking about? Are you really ready to give it up? Hallelujah. Well it is good to say it before I forget. There is an issue that God must settle with us.

When God spoke to me I said, “God this one is hard.”

Amen. I still have not dealt with it so I am not telling you I have overcome. Maybe some of you can even overcome it before I get there. I must give up my right to the life of the first Adam, that is the crux of the issue. Amen. I must give up my right to the first Adam life, that is the crux of the issue and that is what the bride must do. Now it says the bride must forget her father’s house, then the king will behold her, do you understand? Amen. Don’t you think that the main reason I made Jesus the desire of my soul is that I have accepted that “I don’t want this Adam life any more. I want the life of the second Adam, then I qualify to be a bride.”

“Amen.”

Somebody said, “There has to be qualifications.”

You don’t just wake up and you become a bride. You are called to be a bride. No problem with that. When you are called to be a bride you run around, “called to be a bride”, “called to be a bride”. Sit down now. Amen. We thank God for the call.

But like God said yesterday, “Let’s forget about the talk. Let’s get it. Let’s think about how do we now become the bride?”

How a person? Paul said, “what (all) things that were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ”, for the excellency of Christ. It said he was a Jew, excuse me, he was “an Hebrew of the Hebrews”.[15] In those days it was from the tribe of Benjamin, the first tribe to produce a king. But do you know that it was a king in rebellion? You understand? They were glorying in their rebellion because “God says that we are kings” and yet they said, “No, we want a man to go before us like the other nations.[16] So even in that men began to glory and that is how we glory about things. So you see there are things that were gain. The lawyers in our midst I am sure you would probably preach this better.

You know a brother was saying, he said, “You know man has rights. To be able to give up that right is not very easy.”

I understand this is when a man has power, to give up that power you must fight. Nobody gives you power on the path of God. No way, you have to fight for it. Brethren we are in a class struggle. I hope you understand that. We are in a class struggle. We are struggling for power, spiritual power. To be able to get it there is a price we must pay. You don’t just throw it in and you will get it, there is a price to pay.

My problem brethren is that I love life. I don’t know about you, me I love life. Amen. You see life is sweet. I have heard people say “Life is bitter.” I am not going to say that. For me, me, me, life is sweet. Amen. Hallelujah. You know the flesh… if you look at the tabernacle the flesh dies very hard. So you have to go through several stages if you are going to kill the man, kill the man dead. Hallelujah.

But you see my soul must have a ruling spirit. Sorry, I hope you can understand it. The soul must have a ruling spirit and the ruling spirit of the soul must be Christ. If He is going to marry my soul He must be in control. Hallelujah. But He is not coming into a place that is barren. Hallelujah. There are spirits that have lodged themselves, that have hidden themselves.

“How do you know?”

He says Edom, Edom speaks of the soul, of the flesh. Edom dwells in the clefts of the rock, in the clefts he is hidden. Who can bring it down from the high and lofty place? Hallelujah. The Bible says, “Casting down imaginations and every desire and every thought that exalted itself against the knowledge of God.”[17] So within my nature, within the realms of my mind there are spirits that have lodged themselves.

If you look at Ezekiel 14:14 that gives us the picture of that temple, it is a spiritual temple, it is a picture of your soul different…I told my wife that I brought down my book. I wanted to make what was written to see, what I could I would draw. By the time I got to the end of that idea, the middle of the chapter was so hard. The thing is so deep, so complicated. This temple, this one measure, this one. I said, “Me, I must finish it today.” The projects was abandoned because I was confused. Amen. My mind couldn’t carry it. Hallelujah. They say, “Strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.”[18] Hallelujah. God can judge. I guess only one thing that can judge is the light, is the light of God. Halleujah. That brings us to some other place we are going to.

Now if you look at 2^nd Corinthians 4:4, it says, “the god of this world hath blinded the minds”. Hallelujah. That is where the fight must begin, in the mind. Hallelujah. The mind of man has been covered. Now the scripture says, “thou art the anointed cherub” that does what? “That covereth.”[19] Spirits bring a covering. Hallelujah. When the wrong spirits begin to manifest you know what they are going to do. They are going to cover. It takes spiritual people to discern the spirits, not to fight it carnally but to fight it spiritually. Hallelujah. Spirits bring a covering. In this land like you was saying there is a covering. Hallelujah. The spirits work within my soul to bring a covering. Amen.

Now the Bible says, “when something is brought to the light it is judged”. Amen. The Bible says that, “Because your works were evil that men did not like the light because if they come to the light their works will be revealed.”[20] Hallelujah. So the devil knows that if “the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that we may know what is the hope of his (our) calling”.[21] I will understand that I am a bride of Christ, that no other spirit must defile me. Hallelujah.

But as long as my understanding is covered it is darkened, what happens? I carry along as though I don’t know who I am. You know, like the prodigal son. He went far and then he said, “I’m not acting like God’s son. Please, I want to come back.” Amen.

So the soul of man is in darkness and that is the midnight brethren. Midnight is that point in time when the nature of the soul would have gone so far away from God, turned far from God. You see the only source of light in the universe is God. He is “the Father of lights”.[22] Hallelujah. When man’s nature begins to turn from God, where is he going to? Towards darkness. When a man is coming back towards God, what is He doing? It says:

1^st John 1:7 “If we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.”

The blood of Jesus is Light. I always say it is not red liquid. It is more than red liquid. Hallelujah. They say that blood is thicker than water, is it not so? Blood has light. Amen. When we are not walking in the light our sins are there and we are contending with sin and other. But when we begin to walk in the light we find that that is the way we are gong to have deliverance. So what is true about the soul, the realms of the soul, the picture that I have to understand it, to make it clearer in Genesis. It says that:

Genesis 1:1 “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.”

But what were the situations of the heavens and the earth? “…Darkness was covering….”[23] Hallelujah.

1:2 “And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep…”

But hat is not all of the story but it is a good story. Who wants the good story?

1:2 …“The Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.”

Amen. Hallelujah. That is why the devil cannot beat me, I say, “God I must overcome.” Hallelujah. Because the Spirit of God is on top of the situation. Hallelujah.

1:2 …“The Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.”

Hallelujah. So you must not only see the darkness, you must realize the darkness, but you must see the solutions – that the Spirit of God is there. Hallelujah. I am saying brethren, that over my emotions the Spirit of God is available to make a change. Hallelujah. You can go on in verse 3:

Genesis 1:3 “And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.”

He said there also somewhere:

Genesis 1:14 “And God said, “Let there be lights in the firmament…”

There are two kinds of light. Did you understand?

I said, “God how can you give us two kinds of light?”

He said, “Let there be light and there was day and night.” Isn’t that so? He said also, “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens…” Hallelujah. Amen.

You know when Paul was praying he said, “I pray that ‘the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him’,” he said, “that ‘the eyes of understanding being (might be) being enlightened’.”[24]

From your Bible just tell me, what creature do you know that has lights in and out that is filled with light? Which one? If you go to Ezekiel, Ezekiel 1, Ezekiel 10, Ezekiel 14 and then Revelation 4, 5 you will find that all through it talks about the living creatures. Those living creatures address the four dimensions of the soul. Now because the heavenly things are being brought to us in images that we should understand, now we can understand it talks about living creatures, but He is actually talking about realms and dimensions in the Spirit. Hallelujah.

Now within you the Bible says that we are wonderfully and fearfully made. Hallelujah. The soul of man was made to be a garden. When you say garden a garden is a place of…when you think of God’s garden, God doesn’t need hibiscus and rose flower. God is looking for a place of fellowship, a place that will give Him comfort and pleasure. Do you understand that when God comes to you He wants to have pleasure and comfort from you. Hallelujah. We say, “I bless You”, we are speaking words but it is something rising up within you and it is bringing pleasure to God. Hallelujah. So when it says that our “soul shall be as a watered garden”, He is speaking about a place where God can come.[25] I mean when you come to your wife or you come to your family you are nourished and it is a refreshing that comes. Hallelujah. That is the kind of refreshing that God wants to have from us, from His people.

But you see the soul of man became a wilderness, it became dry. There was a water that was a refreshing, it says that there was a river that flowed in Eden also that had four heads, it was watering. But something happened and that river stopped flowing. When sin came in that is when man became a wilderness. The nature of the soul turned from God and became – they use the word beast to signify a spirit and nature of rebellion. That is just what he is talking about, a rebellion, the nature of man became rebellious. Now how would you want to marry a rebellious wife? I am trying to paint a picture. Who would like to marry a rebellious wife?

“Sit down.”

“I am standing up.”

Like I am talking how a child would say.

Like a teacher would tell a class of children, “I want every child to sit down, or to stand up.”

Everybody stood up but that boy was sitting down.

He said, “Why are you not standing up?”

He said, “I don’t want to.”

He said, “Will you stand up?”

The child stood up. Do you know what the child said?

“I am standing up but in my mind I am sitting down.”

We do it now. Mommy says to sit down, the child is sitting down, but in the heart the child is doing what? He is doing what he wants to do. That is exactly where we are. We say, “We bless You Lord.” But inside our hearts we are completely clear what we want to do. Amen.

So we are speaking about rebellion in the soul and brethren that is the crux of the matter.

Now I was saying to the sister, “The difference between the New Testament and the Old Testament is just one thing, it is that in the New there must be a change of the soul. Hallelujah. The Old Testament did not have any provisions for addressing the inward parts. Hallelujah. The Old Testament was outwardly you wear the garment, you wear the priest, you do all those things and so. Amen. It didn’t have the ability to go in and to address the real issues. He says, “I will take away the Old that I might bring in the New.” And what will I do? “I will put my law in their inward parts.”[26] Hallelujah.

Do you know that we are the ark of the Lord?

“Yes.”

Inside of the ark what do you find? You find the tables of the covenant. It is not grammar, it is a life, it is an experience where you are the law, you are the Bible.

2^nd Corinthians 3:2 “Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men:”

You say, “Okay, I will read it in Genesis.”

We are the law, you are the Bible. It says “…out of Zion shall go forth the law...[27]

I’m looking at my Bible and I said, “Which one shall I read?”

We are the law. I’m looking at myself and I say, “God you know I am not the law.”

Hallelujah. Are you the law? How many of us are the law? Hallelujah. Well you can read, the law, I am quoting scriptures. The law was written two times. One with the finger of God and one by the finger of experience. Hallelujah. We know the law written by God Who wrote it. The real one was the one that says, “Moses you take your hand and write it.” He wrote out of the contents of rebellion. The first one was broken because the people rose against God. Hallelujah. We know, my nature is a nature of rebellion. Hallelujah. So “the carnal man is” what? “is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.”[28] Now what he means is that the natural man does not have the capacity, he doesn’t have the ability, he will try to have the ability but he doesn’t have the ability to bring blessing to God, to please God. Hallelujah.

So how can you now take that woman and say I go and marry Christ? And He gave the teacher, He brought Adam, “take your wife”. He began to give them names. But it said, “But for Adam there was not found a help meet for him.”[29] Why? Adam said, “I am not going to marry a beast.” If Adam says he is not going to marry a beast, how think ye that Christ will marry a beast? Amen. If Adam refused to marry a beast, then how think I that I will present myself with my own programs, with my own way of doing things and say, “Yes I want to be the wife of Christ,”? It is not going to work.

Marriage will only be on one condition, like Brother Burt was saying. When the sister is dressed, they wear what they own, not what the brother wants, or what they think will please the brother. Isn’t that so? And also want to please their friends and with the society that trained them. Isn’t that so? They want to be socially happening. Amen. Those are the churches where they are reflecting or responding to our environments, isn’t that so? Amen.

But brethren we don’t have time. We don’t have time. You know those times of ignorance… Now the reason we don’t have time is that we have come to the point of midnight. At midnight is a situation where darkness is about to overtake the whole realm of man. Hallelujah. There are spirits that have been prepared for this. It says that they “have been prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month,” you understand.[30] There are spirits that have been released for this time. Those spirits are coming to defy you and me. Do you understand. When once I become defiled I cannot qualify, I lose my qualification. Do you understand?

So I am going down the road. I have had good fellowship. As I was coming, on the plane as I was coming I was having some nice times. I knew trouble was coming. I said to God, “Just tell me when the trouble comes so that I am not overtaken.”

Now men on the daily basis, you will be confronted with different spirits. Different spirits come to us, confront us. Hallelujah. Most of the time we are overtaken. You meet the spirit of anger on the road, isn’t that so? You meet the spirit of lust on the road. I was at the Bus Stop this morning and I looked up and I looked at the photograph and I saw one naked body. I said, “O My God help me.” Do you understand what I am saying? Now the devil doesn’t mind. You can eat all the chicken you want in London. It is there, good clothes, good house, good everything, but the thing is that there is a barrage of unclean spirits. Not only in here, but everywhere you are spirits are attacking the soul. It says that “they war against the soul”.[31] Do you know what? I find that I have not been mentally tuned. I have not been mentally prepared: 1) to keep myself, to guard myself; not even being taught to be able to resist the spirits. So these spirits come and they overtake me and they defile me and I go home all bruised up. Hallelujah. So the Bible says that there is war in heaven.”[32] That is the crux of the matter. The Bible says:

Ephesians 6:12 “For we wrestle (war) not against flesh and blood, but against (spirits) principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”

Now these are spirits of darkness. Now the problem, well for me it was a problem but for me it was also an eye opener to make me realize the depth of the repentance. That is really why I want to show you the scripture, because you need to know the depth of the repentance. Do you know that it is my nature that is sustaining all of the workings of darkness – do you know it is my nature? Revelation 17 says, “He took him to the wilderness and there he saw what? A beast.” What is the wilderness? It is your soul. It is a realm of your soul.

Revelation 17:3 “So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.”

I say that woman was Babylon:

Revelation 5 “And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.”

Brethren that is where the predicament has stopped our people. We have lost our identy. When last did you hear a message on Babylon? If anybody has heard a message on Babylon in the past three months, please, can I see your hand. I’m not meaning someone who was preaching Babylon, not in the message but on the side. I mean “Today our message is on Babylon.”  If you heard it in the last three months can I see your hand? In the last six months? In the last one year? I mean – we lost it! It is gone!

 You know, ten or fifteen years ago that was number one, number two. One time I said, “Can Brother Cec stop preaching Babylon.”

Amen. We need to go back. We need to go back brethren, back. You wouldn’t dare just talk about the physical one, because everything from what I have explained, you see there are dimensions of it. You have left the Anglican Church, no problem. Has the Anglican Church left you? Amen. You have come out physically, but there is a coming out spiritually. Hallelujah. But if we are in the physical one we will stop preaching it. So let’s go back to it. Maybe that will now help us now come up and stop talk about the spiritual Babylon.

There is economic Babylon brethren. Hallelujah. They look like the beast, lifeless. They don’t give life to you. You look at the religious system, you are looking at spiritual Babylon. The Bible says that this spirit is sustained by my nature, by the beast. It speaks of the nature of my mind, it is what is giving life to the image of the beast. The Bible says that “if any man worship the beast and his image” he is not going to qualify.[33] Brethren that is the message. We must overcome the beastly nature or the nature of this first Adam, we must. Hallelujah.

Now let’s talk about sexuality. Hallelujah. One of the major driving forces of the first Adam is what? It is sex, sexual relationships, marriage or not marriage, a atraction between a man and a woman. Is it not so? It is a trillion dollar industry. If you want to make money just put a naked picture. Your picture will sell fast. They are selling flesh. Brethren it shocked me. Well I knew it but when I saw it I said, “Ahh.” Hallelujah. Let me tell you the story.

You see one woman married seven men. One woman married seven men. The woman was married to a man and the man died. His brother came and married her and died. The third one came and married her and died, until the seventh also married her and did what? Died. Amen. Now Sadducees now asked Jesus, “Since you know everything, we have caught you today.” “In the resurrection whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they all had her.”[34] Jesus said, “Ye do err.”

You know when you stand there you start muttering, you know. Forgive me.

Jesus said, “You do err, not knowing the scriptures. For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage.” Because they shall be like what? Angels! “But are as the angels of God in heaven.” I thank God for that. Amen. Say “amen”.

“Amen.”

Hallelujah. Sexual relationship is first Adam I hope you know. Sexual relationship is first Adam. Hallelujah. It is in the realm of the first Adam, because in the resurrection (hallelujah, we don’t have too much understanding in that dimension,) but according to what Jesus says, “in the resurrection they neither marry.” The scripture says, “Let them that marry” be like what? The Bible says, “Let them that marry” be like what? “Those who are not married.” He is trying to say that there is an overcoming that we need to have in the area of sexuality. There is an overcoming that we can have and there is power there to have that overcoming when we begin to understand what God is talking about.

Now what God is talking about is that you as an individual, you have the right to sexual relationships. It is your right. Hallelujah. But you see God wants us to come to the point where I say, “God I give it to you.” Supposing I will say to this one you will marry and to the other one that you will not marry? You can say that too. You have your family, you come to Him and say, “I have my family.” That word can only be from the Lord. It is true now. You have your own family with your children and you will tell me that the Lord is saying…. No, no, no. Brother leave that word, it is not….

Jesus said that “some were made eunuchs by the kingdom, for the kingdom, some were made eunuchs of themselves”.[35] Hallelujah. Hallelujah. What am I saying? There are rights. You have rights to do good, to a good character also, to have this and that. Those are your rights. Hallelujah. But there is a place where we get to, those rights we take and we give it to Him. We say, “Lord I give it to You.” It is not very easy. It is not very easy. The one that is easy, not that that is not what God is asking, that is the one that is hard. He says, “Abraham give me your Isaac, thy only begotten son which you had after twenty five years of waiting. That is the one I want.” Hallelujah. The man struggled and struggled, but thank God He said, “Now I know.”[36] The man has gone to heaven, it is not for us. Can God say to you and to me, “Now I know.”? Hallelujah. That is God’s right. That man that would take your only, the only, the energy of your life and say “give it”. Hallelujah. That is the church that He is looking for.  Brethren that is the strength that we have lost.

You come into fellowship, I used to come into fellowship and I could feel the energy. What energy do you feel? You feel a hunger and a desire to please God. Today when I listened to the songs I don’t see that energy. I don’t know if I am alone, because our hearts have gone astray. Our hearts are not at the cutting edge as those that were hungry for the fullness of God, isn’t that so? How many of us are hungry anymore? We have Jeep, we have cars, we have money. Hallelujah. It says the problem of Sodom was idleness and fullness of bread.[37] Hallelujah. Brethren we need to go back. There is a repentance that needs to be done. There is a life of the first Adam, it says that:

1^st Corinthians 15:49 “And as we have born the image of the earthy (the first Adam), we shall (must) also bear the image of the heavenly (of the Man from heaven).”

But before you can bear that life you must first give up this one. For as long as this one is there this other one cannot come and our soul is clung… You know Lot’s wife, remember Lot’s wife, her soul couldn’t leave Sodom. Do you know that we live in Sodom? The address of the town where you live, where I live is what? Sodom where our Lord was crucified, Sodom and Egypt. Sodom represents the spirit of whoredom. Let me read one scripture, Hosea Chapter 4 to bring out what we are saying. Somebody says “Osee”, that is the Greek that says “Osee”.

Hosea 4:10 “For they shall eat, and not have enough: they shall commit whoredom, and shall not increase: because they have left off to take heed to the LORD.”

Now watch in verse 11.

11 “Whoredom and wine and new wine take away the heart.”

That is the oil. Come to 12.

12 “My people ask counsel at their stocks, and their staff declareth unto them: for the spirit of whoredoms hath caused them to err, and they have gone a whoring from under their God.”

The problem we are having is the spirit of whoredoms. Now it is a spirit that makes a man join himself to other spirits, spiritually this is called fornication. It says that the nations have been made mad with the wine of the wrath of her fornication. The nations are joined to Babylon. Babylon is a spirit, it is a defiling spirit. Hallelujah. Revelation 14:4 says that:

Revelation 14:4 “These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins….”

That “women” speaks of defiling spirits that come to marry the soul to take the position of Christ in the soul. Hallelujah. That is God’s definition for it says that these were redeemed from the earth. Hallelujah.

Now let me just break it down to you a little bit. Now if you go to Ezekiel Chapter 1 it gives a picture to summarize. He said that there was a wheel and that there was another wheel in the middle of the big wheel. That is simple. There is a spirit in man but there is also another spirit that controls the spirit in man. Do we understand that? So the crux of the matter is, what kind of spirit is in the midst of the wheel. The spirit in the midst of the wheel is what determines where that you are going to go. I don’t know if you understand. The spirit in the midst of the wheel is the one that determines where you will go. Hallelujah. If it is the spirit of whoredoms, if it is another spirit, where will you go? You will go contrary, you will go to darkness. It will cause the heart to err. Hallelujah. So when the people of God err from God the problem was their heart has been taken over by a contrary spirit. Hallelujah.

So the bride is there dressed. You are waiting for the Lord but there is no oil in the vessel. The oil speaks of the presence of the Spirit of God.

Romans 8:14 “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.”

So I said to God, “I know my problem. My problem is that I have this spirit in me that is contrary to You.” And I said, “God we must dislodge this spirit.”

Brethren that is our warfare, to dislodge this spirit that has lodged itself. I know the spirit has lodged there and is taking over.

Do you know what HIV does? HIV, the virus enters into a human cell and takes over the machinery and begins to produce nonsense viral proteins using the DNA, the ordinary nutrients that should be forming proteins that will help you. He comes in, brings his own program and shows the DNA, “Stop producing these proteins and start producing viral nonsense proteins.” So protein is being produces but it is of no benefit to your economy. Hallelujah. That is where we are. A spirit has come in and taken over our soul and it is producing their own codes, their own program. That is what the Bible calls the image of the beast.

So there is a program. You get up in the morning and you see you are running, but it is NOT the program of God. The Bible says that “even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away (delivered)”. That is the good news. “The captives of the mighty shall be taken away (delivered).”[38] Hallelujah.

Yes, there is a spirit that has come in and it has taken over the realm of the soul. The Bible says, “strong is the Lord God that judgeth her.”[39] Now before God can come into the picture – I must understand what is going on. The Bible says that, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.”[40] It is not head knowledge, but it is a knowledge of the workings of my soul. Hallelujah. Now the major component of the soul is the mind. It shows like the eagle, isn’t that so? That is the mind. There is a spirit lodged in within the mind that is contrary to God. You see anything against God. Hallelujah. So the mind must be submitted to Christ. The only way to submit the mind is to behead the mind. Hallelujah. It is to behead the mind and it is not a one day job. It is day in, day out, “here a little, and there a little” until the Lord comes in.[41] Hallelujah.

So the first point of deliverance is the point of repentance.

You say, “Lord I have been going on a wrong journey and in a wrong relationship. Spirits have taken over the dominion of my land. Hallelujah. That is the first point. Hallelujah. If a man understands and sees his state then there is hope. Then that man can start crying the same, for it says that in Zion there shall be deliverance.

Romans 10:13 “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

So let me ask you a question. If we do then come together for fellowship what should we be doing?

“Repenting.”

That means that our songs, our sharings, our discussions should be: “How do we dislodge these spirits within?” If we do anything that doesn’t strengthen us or encourage us to dislodge the spirits, we are playing Babylon. Church, church and we have no value to God’s economy. Hallelujah. So when we come the Light must come, because these are spirits of darkness. Light must come to expose them. Hallelujah. “Here a little, and there a little.”[42]

Let’s go to Genesis 1. Let’s look at the picture. Now in Genesis 1 there are two types of lights mentioned, one on the first day and the other on the fourth day. Hallelujah. I don’t know if we still have time to draw this. I am drawing this because there may be some who are not familiar with this. We have one, two, three, four, five, six, the four stations in the tabernacle.

The first one is the altar, the brazen altar.

The second one is the laver, the brazen laver.

Third you have the lampstand.

Fourth the table of shewbread.

Fifth the incense, the golden altar of incense.

Sixth the ark of the covenant and the covering or the mercy seat.

These are the six stations that you find. Although you can also talk about seven, the things in the ark.

The first day He said, “Let there be light.” Hallelujah.

Genesis 1:3 “And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.”

Hallelujah. Now when a man gets born again the light of God comes. Hallelujah. You receive light. But you see the problem we have is deep down. It is lodged deep, deep, deep, deep down in the earth. Hallelujah. Before a man is born again the Bible says, “There was darkness covering everywhere.” Hallelujah.

Genesis 1:2 “…darkness was upon the face of the deep …”

On the second day He says what? “Let there be a division of the waters below the firmament and the waters above the firmament.”

1:7 “And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.”

Then He said to let the waters divide. Then there was the earth and then there was the sea.

1:10 “And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called the Seas…”

Then on the third day He said, “Let the earth begin to bring forth every seed and all manner of food to comfort.” Hallelujah.

1:11 “And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.”

Then on the fourth day which is where I am going to. He said, “Let there be lights in (the midst of) the firmament.”

Are you there?

1:14 “And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:”

We must have the ability to divide the day from the Light. Let’s read on.

 1:16 “And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.”

1:17 “And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,”

1:18 “And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.”

1:19 “And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.”

Brethren that is the deliverance that we need. Hallelujah.  We need light. We need light in our heavens. Heaven – you don’t need to go far – heaven speaks of the soul. It is the light in the heaven on the fourth day that helps us to address what happens on the fifth day and on the sixth day. Hallelujah.

On the fifth day He is saying, “Let these seas bring forth all manner of creatures. And He says that there were all manner of birds flying in the air.”

1:20 “And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.”

1:21 “And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.”

1:22 “And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.”

Then on the sixth day He said what? “Let the earth bring forth all manner of beasts.” Hallelujah.

1:24 “And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping things, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.”

1:25 “And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.”

Then He said, “Let there be man also.” And let the man do what? “Have dominion.”

1:26 “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.”

The bride must have the nature of dominion. Hallelujah. Dominion over the sea, dominion over the earth and dominion over the air. Those are the three dimensions that determine if you will be able to deal with the spirits that come to defile you. Let me put it this way. I know it is like not too plain. Let me put it this way. When you go to Genesis Chapter 1 there are three realms described. Now when I say this I am looking at it in the spiritual dimension. Genesis Chapter 1 is so deep that you can apply it to different dimensions, but I am just looking at an aspect.

There is a realm of the sea. In Revelation the Bible tells us that the sea represents peoples. It shows the generality of the world that has not been saved, that is the realm of the sea. In Revelation Chapter 13 it says that there was a beast that came out of the sea and that this beast had authority from the dragon. Is it not so? I said, is it not so? I feel that you are slipping from me, that you are not alive any more. Don’t worry. We will break it down. But you see we must talk about these things because that is what the devil is using that is ours. Amen. It is not big, they are simple things. There are three dimensions. They act the sea. I remember the Bible saying that “there was no more sea”.[43] The realm of the sea must be a thing that we will overcome. Hallelujah.    

Now to those who are biologists, there is one characteristic of the sea. Can you tell me? If you read Discovery, watch Discovery there is one thing that characterizes the sea. It is dark, there is no light in the sea. Hallelujah. The truth is that you find deep, deep down there are dark creatures and there is no light. The light goes down and it gets to a point where it is pitch darkness. Hallelujah. It is a realm of life. It is a nature. There are men whose nature is that of darkness, they don’t want God. Hallelujah.

You stay in a country like this you don’t…in Nigeria you wake up in the morning you hear one gospel music. Isn’t that so? Down the road somebody is singing, that ministers to you. This one here, if you hear a song, even if the song is a religious song there is no life. Hallelujah. You see this is a realm of life – it says that “they do not like to retain God in their knowledge (theirselves), (therefore) God gave them over to a reprobate spirit”.[44] You find a mind that says, “there is no God”, “I am god” and that mind is now the Prime Minister. He is now the President and Governor and the Parliamentarians. What kind of system do you think you have? So anything that is godly defiant: you are a lawyer and must marry a homosexual; don’t do it. Like you are paper heads, many things are tied to your paper heads. If you don’t marry them they take it away from you, let’s see how you survive. So they force you. You see men but they are spirits functioning. Hallelujah. Amen.

So there is a realm of the earth. I said there is a beast coming from the earth and it causes us to worship the dragon. Amen. Then you see there is another realm which is the realm of the earth where many of us are. Hallelujah. It is a religious realm. It says there is a beast also but it “had two horns like a lamb, and he spake like a dragon.[45] But you know what the Bible said? The Bible said that the beast made war, he made war with the saints.[46] What do you think was the result of that war? The beast made war with the saints and the ability of the saints overcame the beast. Hallelujah. The beast made war with the saints. It said that the devil came, have you forgotten? It said that he came from walking around and drew a line on the side. Have you forgotten. He drew a line on the side and said, “What do you see?” When I saw it I laughed. I knew, you know the strength of the Devil? It is me, my carnality. That is the strength of the Devil, my carnality. Hallelujah.

The Bible said that the spirit made war with the saints and overcame them.

I asked God, “How come?”

He said, “It is because we are carnal.”

Hallelujah. So as long as we are carnal that spirit will have authority, will have dominion over us. Hallelujah. Amen.

But he said there is another realm also, the realm of the heavens. And it said, “Let there be lights in the midst of the heavens.”[47] No wonder Paul said:

Ephesians 1:18 “The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,”

When we understand that we are a bride and I will conduct myself… When you see a woman who is going to be married do you see her with any man? You are not supposed to fellowship, that is what we tell the young people, with no engagement, no courtship, we don’t want any Mr. Biggs, nothing like that. The day you want to get married the two of you have agreed, that is when you will announce, “These brethren are getting married.” So when you see them together you know that they have a destination. Hallelujah. Amen.

When there is any one of us that is betrothed to Christ, spirits will be told that, “This soul is for Christ. Keep away.” Hallelujah. But we are not doing that. We are playing around. We still like to be like Dinah, to go out to the land, to try out the land. Hallelujah. You know what happened to her? She was defiled. Hallelujah. That is what happened to us, even though we are called, but we go out and we play around with these spirits.

So we are looking at these three dimensions. He said, “Let there be lights.” Now when Jesus was walking on the road to Emmaus there was something that happened. He was talking to the brethren, they didn’t know who He was. “Their eyes were holden that they should not know him.”[48] There was something blocking their eyes, they didn’t know what it was. It says that when they sat at bread and they began to break bread, do you know what happened?[49] It said that their understanding was opened. Hallelujah. When they had understanding they were opened they had light, they had understanding. Amen. Hallelujah.

In Revelation Chapter 12:1 it gives us a picture. It says there was a woman. She was standing on the moon. There was something peculiar, it says she was clothed with the sun and she had a crown of twelve stars. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. That woman was pregnant. She did what? She brought forth a manchild which was to rule the nations.

What is God saying to us brethren? We need these lights. We need to have fellowship with light. We need to have the nature of light. It is the nature of light that qualifies us as His true bride. I am praying that God will help me to have light.

If you look at Daniel 12 it says:

Daniel 12:3 “…And they that turn many to righteousness…”

Shall do what? “Shall shine as the stars for ever.” It says:

Can we look at that scripture? I can see that you are getting tired of me, so I am going to end very soon. I am going to end very soon. I was trying to hit the nail and look at practical steps

Daniel 12:3 “And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness (shall shine) as the stars for ever and ever.”

Now when the Bible talks about stars, moon, He is speaking of natures of light. We need to have the nature of the sun. Do you know that for instance, “In Him is light and there is no darkness at all.”

1^st John 1:5 “This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.”     

He dwells in the light with no man, man means carnality cannot approach unto. Hallelujah. There is a spirit working to enlighten us. The darkness that is within will be filled with light. Now if we have the nature of light, we will have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness. We are not going to go into darkness and we are not going to tell a lie, we are going to tell the truth, even if it means my head. Hallelujah. So I had better tell the truth even if I am going to be naked.

You know the story about the Truth and the False? Brother Cec always told the story of the Truth and the False. They went swimming together and False hurried up and got out and put on Truth’s clothing and walked off pretending to be Truth. When Truth got out he had no clothes so he ran home naked. That is where the phrase “Naked Truth” came from.  

Brethren our nature needs a change. That is really where I am going to. We need to change to a nature of light. It is only when we have the nature (of light) that we can rule over the night. You cannot rule over the light unless you have greater light. Do you understand? It is the function of light, of energy. Hallelujah. Yes. Besetting sin, what do you think it is? It is a spirit that had lodged deep, deep down. Hallelujah. You need power and you need strength to dislodge it. Hallelujah. You need light.

Genesis 1:14 “And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night;…”       

We are the heaven brethren. He said, “Oh ye heaven and they that dwell therein.” There must be light in the heavens. Hallelujah. It is this light that enables us to overcome, to rule over the darkness. Hallelujah. He said that the light shall be for:

1:14 “….let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:”

Do you know that there are seasons of the Lord. We are in the season of the Lord when “his wife hath made herself ready.”[50] If we do not have this understanding you will not make yourself ready, you understand. You will simply be playing with harlots. But when there are lights in you you will understand the seasons of God. He said:

Leviticus 23:4 “These are the feasts of the LORD, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim (celebrate) in their seasons.”

Hallelujah. This is what we have been waiting for. We are in the feast of tabernacles when God is coming to take up His dwelling place in me. Hallelujah. That means my mind must change, my mentality. Brethren I want to tell you about the focus. There was a man who went to be married and he doesn’t have a wedding garment.[51] That is what we are talking about. The wedding garment is the sun.[52] Hallelujah. “Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun…” and the stars.[53] It is their nature. Hallelujah.

I see that I love darkness, so do you, but there is something in me that loves darkness.

I said, “God what is the problem? Why am I doing this?”         

Do you ask yourself that kind of question?

“Why am I here? Why am I doing this?”

It is because there is a spirit, there is a spirit responsible, there is a spirit of whoredoms. But when the light of God comes that spirit will be judged. Hallelujah. So when we come to eat together we are partaking at the King’s table. You see this table is the King’s table. We receive seed, that seed will bring forth the nature of the Son of God. Hallelujah. That bread, He says, “If you eat of this bread you will not die.”[54] Hallelujah. It will be in you a light and a strength and God has been bringing that table for us. Hallelujah. He has been setting it and He is yet setting it. Hallelujah.

Now when we eat of that table our eyes are opened to discern spirits. You are talking with your wife or with your husband. If you are going to help you will know when a wrong spirit is functioning. Isn’t it true? You will know when the atmosphere in the home has changed and a wrong spirit has jumped in. Hallelujah. You know what? It is easy to see the spirit in your husband. Hallelujah.

So I was talking and somebody says, “I don’t want to follow man.”

I laughed. When a man says you don’t want to follow the man it means that he is not following you. You know the man you don’t want to follow. I don’t want to follow this man (self). Hallelujah.  

The man in me is worse than the man in you. The Bible says it talks of brokenness. Do you know what is brokenness? When the man sees the log in his eyes, that is brokenness. Then you can now see the speck in your brother’s eye to help him. Hallelujah. But no, we turn it around.

“There is a log in my brother’s eye. Let me remove it first.”

Hallelujah. The hallmark of tabernacle is brokenness. It says:

Psalm 51:17 “…a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.”

Brokenness is you.

You say, “Lord, what shall this man do?”

He says, “That is not your business. You – go and do what I want you to do.”

I find in our midst [when I say in our midst I look at myself] I know that I don’t see brokenness. If I am not broken the life of God cannot come. We can come with intellect, with big grammar and that, but we are looking at brokenness. When a man realizes that, as Paul said:

Romans 7:18 “… in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing:…”

Hallelujah. Then if I come to you in brokenness, the Bible says “soft words”, what do they do?  

Proverbs 15:1 “A soft answer turneth away wrath:…”

So we find out that when we are talking with one another at home, at fellowship, at work we don’t see that. Rather what we see is that nature, that hard nature of the beast of roughness, arrogance and pride, arrogance, inordinate. I am praying that God will be able to bring us full circle back. We need to go back to the basics to realize that we have been called to be a bride. We have been called to a warfare. But you know one good news about the warfare – that devil did not prevail. Hallelujah. You must understand. You must believe that the devil will not prevail. If you do not believe then you cannot go far.

You say, “O God I cannot.”

I ask people, I say, “Look, the blood of Jesus was shed from the foundation.”[55]

Is it not so? That is what Ephesians says, that He has proposed that He will have a people “in Christ”.  Now it is not saying that everybody is going to be “in Christ”. Those who meet the qualification will be “in Christ”. That is what it means by predestination, that there are sets of conditions. If we meet those conditions then you are in.

You say, “Well I am there. God has purposed me to be.”

No, no, no. God has purposed that anyone that meets these conditions to be “in Christ”. That is predestination. If you don’t understand that you will have problems.

So you will come and say, “Well I am going to be saved. Anything I do I will be saved.”

You will not you know. You will be saved if you follow these sets of conditions. He says, “If any man will be My disciple.” Hallelujah. So there are conditions that He will have people, so that the church in heaven and the church on earth, He will bring them in one “in Christ”. Hallelujah.

Ephesians 1:10 “That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in on all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:”

There is a characteristic that the blood was shed before the church was formed in His mind from the foundation.

I ask, “Which ancestral spirit is older than the church?”

You say that you are struggling with ancestral spirits. Let me ask you a question.

“The ancestral spirit that you are fighting, is it older than the ancestral spirit of the church?”

Did you know that the church has an ancestral spirit? Christ is our ancestral spirit from the foundation. Hallelujah. The blood was shed from the foundation also.

So if now in London you have lost your job, what you are experiencing now is of no consequence to what God saw in the beginning. Hallelujah. What I am saying is that your condition now should not make you despise or reject the calling and the position that God has given to you. Hallelujah. So you are going through things now but the strength that you have is that there is a foundation that you have from the foundation of the world. Hallelujah. He is bringing you to a church where Paul, Peter, Brother Cec, Sister Mavis and our own Melchizedek. Hallelujah. Amen. Hallelujah. They are there. There are there. Hallelujah. That is the church. It is a spiritual body.

Hebrews 12:22 “But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God…”

Hallelujah. It is from heaven. It is a heavenly reality. Yes we live in a very physical world, but the truth is that we are a spiritual people. Amen. We need to tell ourselves a spiritual truth, that we need to begin to look and live beyond the natural. Husbands treat your wife, knowing that you are dealing with spirits. It says, “dwell with them (your wife) according to (with) knowledge”.[56] Hallelujah. The woman is struggling with spirits, the man is struggling with spirits and the children are struggling with spirits also. Hallelujah. Every one of us we are contending with different kinds of spirits. Hallelujah.

When you go to work you are exposed to different kinds of spirits. Like we were saying, like the Brother said, if you go to Ethiopia, it is a different kind of ball game. You go to Congo, different kind of ball game, different spirits. The rape capitol of the world is there. There are spirits that don’t heed English language that are inside there. Hallelujah.

So there are different kinds of situations and we must begin to discern the spirits and then begin to pattern our lives so that we too can overcome. The Bible says:

Galatians 6:1 “…if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.”   

You which are spiritual, what do you do? You take care of yourself lest the same spirit jump on you. Amen.

So if your wife is raging, somebody tells me that you have that kind of wife because there is something also raging in you. Yes now. That is why God gave you to them. Amen. If two people can’t agree there is no problem, the spirit is common. Hallelujah. The spirit is common. That is why first sons and the first fathers agree, isn’t that so also. Because the son sees the father in himself and there is the agreement. Brother Ule is laughing.  Amen. So brethren we must begin to understand spirits. I’m not saying that you see spirits in everything. The spirit of laughter – I’m not saying that. The spirit of smiling – I’m not saying that too. J Amen. For we have a tendency to go to extremes, but we must rightly divide.

2^nd Timothy 2:15 “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

When we rightly divide, if your brother is ministering and he begins to minister in the flesh, you know and you pray for him. Not to say to him, “Let me finish and stop preaching.” No, no, no. You pray for our brother. Because if you understand what I am saying, you are the one preaching really. It is because there is death to you that that is drawing out. Hallelujah. The man cannot say anything beyond the death in you. Hallelujah. So that is how God comes to us as vessels. He says to bring your vessels and He will fill them, even if your vessel is shallow. It says that:

Matthew 13:58 “And he (Jesus) did not many works there because of their unbelief.”

It was the depth. The man was blind from birth. They said, “Who did sin, this man, or his parents?…” Jesus said, “Neither.”[57] Amen.

So we have been called to be brides and it is the best thing that could happen to us. Hallelujah. To be chosen to be joined unto God. It says, “He that is joined to a woman, an adulterous woman is a harlot.”[58] Yes, [they become] one body. “But he that is joined unto the Lord is one Spirit.”[59] Hallelujah. And God cannot be joined to evil. God cannot be joined to Babylon. God cannot be joined to iniquity. Hallelujah. He will only be joined to a “right spirit”, the true spirit of the bride. It is my prayer that I will be a partaker and that we all will be partakers and that our faith will be encouraged to go back to basics. Hallelujah. 

You know there are so many things, so many dimensions that we need to know, I believe that God will bring that which is expedient. I believe that God will begin to bring ministries that will begin to open depths which have been quenched. Hallelujah. Brethren you see it is this bread that will cause “the eyes of your (our) understanding to be enlightened”.[60] Because when we eat the King’s bread, eat the King’s meat you will be nourished. Daniel said, “I will not eat the king’s meat because it will defile me.”[61] There is a meat that defiles / there is a meat that nourishes. Hallelujah.

As I said, the bride must come to the dining table. That is the first place where you see crowns. On that table there are crowns. That means that you begin to receive your authority to have dominion over darkness. Hallelujah.

The nature of the fish, what are we talking about? The nature of the birds and then the beastly nature. These are three dimensions of life and nature that we must overcome. I pray that God will help us. Praise the Lord.
